As the winter chill sets in and darkness begins to descend earlier and earlier, now is the perfect time for quilters to embrace their craft. What better way to kick off your fabric-filled hibernation than with a stream of new materials, patterns, and a whole lot of fun?
That’s what you’ll get when you participate in the Eastern PA Shop Hop!
Whether you’re a quilting veteran or still learning the ropes, the Eastern PA Shop Hop is an exciting and enriching event for everyone. Let’s go over the details, so you don’t miss out on any part of the fun.
What is the Eastern PA Shop Hop?
The Shop Hop is an annual event where you can purchase a passport at any participating quilt store in the Eastern PA area. Every time you visit a shop in the lineup during the Hop, you’ll have it stamped. For those who fill their passport, there will be grand prizes when the event is over—in addition to the door prizes at participating shops! Passports are $8 and come with a block fabric kit with a pattern and a tote bag.
Each shop also participates in a quilting project in which they use 12 blocks to create a unique pattern (with kits of each block available for purchase at every store). This year, 118 Fabrics’ block is shown using Practical Magic by Andover Fabrics. We are so excited for you to see the final result!
Where and when is the Shop Hop?
The 2022 Eastern PA Shop Hop starts October 28th and runs until November 12, 2022. The hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. on Sundays. The following area shops are participating:

Why should you participate in the Shop Hop?
The Shop Hop is a fun way to expand your quilting horizons and discover new patterns, fabrics, and collectibles! It’s also great to get together with your quilting friends and travel to the shops you don’t get to on a regular basis. You will see 10 quilts with the same 12 blocks made 10 very different ways. What great inspiration! Also – don’t forget about the grand prizes!
